I learned that we produce over 300 million tons of plastic each year. Also, that around 50% of that is for single-use purposes. Those numbers are astonishing.

I like that the stainless steel straws are retractable and dishwasher safe. I also like that they have a silicone top. I saw on their website that the company also offers 100% silicone straws, which would be great for my kids.
