Anyone that knows me… knows that I love working in the yard. Especially working in my garden. Every year it gets bigger and bigger and I just love watching it go from seeds to mature, beautiful and bountiful plants that produce lots of delicious homegrown vegetables. There truly is nothing better. The produce I buy at my local market never compares to the homegrown varieties that we enjoy straight from our garden. The taste is simply amazing and fresh! That is the reason I was so excited to check out the Monticello Shop. They have an amazing heirloom seed packet starter kit that contains ten delicious varieties from the Thomas Jefferson Center for Historic Plants.

You receive this amazing Seed Packet Box with Heirloom Seeds filled with ten delicious varieties from the Thomas Jefferson Center for Historic Plants. You can organize each season’s seed packets in this ten-section, glass-lidded, rustic cedar box. You receive 10 delicious varieties…. Long Red Cayenne Pepper, Yellow Pear Tomato, Cherokee Purple Tomato, Paris White Cos Lettuce, Long Green Improved Cucumber, Scarlet Runner Bean, White Eggplant, Bullnose Pepper, Rouge Demi-Longue de Chantenay Carrot and Early Curled Siberian Kale. It is such an amazing collection of the finest heirloom seeds all enclosed in a gorgeous box. I love that it is from the Thomas Jefferson Center for Historic Plants as well. That is super fun and amazing as I am a history buff and love the idea of preserving fabulous varieties of plants and veggies from the past.

This is not only a great gift for your family to enjoy delicious and fabulous varieties of garden fresh vegetables that you will grow yourself, but also a great gift idea for that gardener in your life. Maybe you have a certain someone that you need a gift for and that you know loves gardening and this will make the perfect gift! You can give them the gift of history while gardening and that is amazingly cool. I will be purchasing this box for myself for next season and cannot wait to see the delicious results! I did grow a few heirloom seeds this year myself, but nothing like this. I love the collection of fabulous heirloom seeds all enclosed in a gorgeous collectible box! It is a timeless gift for any serious gardener for sure!

If one haw a garden it is important to try to plant heirloom seeds. I love to buy them at the farmer’s markets.

Unfortunately, I can’t have a garden at my house because there’s just too much wildlife. It’s already bad enough around my house, I fear that a garden would attract more animals. But, the Seed Packet Box with Heirloom Seeds is absolutely gorgeous. I’ll have to keep it in mind for my uncle for next year. He has this amazing garden and I think he’d really like the box with all the different seeds.
