I haven’t heard of cod liver oil in years. This sounds like a great product for our bodies. Thank you so much for sharing this.

That sounds like a good deal. I know my Grandma swore by cod liver oil, and having this be lemon flavor would be a big bonus.

I have degenerative disc disease in my spine and the doctor says i need to take vitamins for my bones. I think this would be great for me to take, plus all the added benefits as well. Oh yes with all the kids passing colds around this would help with boosting the immune system too, very cool, im glad i found this. Thanks for the great post.

  • Cathy French

My mom used to always use this and I thought..yuck! But it has come along way and its very beneficial.

  • Tamra Phelps

My Grandma used cod liver oil. She was a big believer! Having this with lemon flavor would be much better than the old-style stuff.

  • Laura

I have never tried this! I had a couple people recently recommend it to me though. This sounds like a good deal!

Cod liver oil works for so many things, but the taste was so bad, lol. Having this in lemon is a game changer!

  • Elaine R

My older brother and sister had a teaspoon of cod liver oil every morning when they were kids. Their comments on cod liver oil were that it tasted as bad as it smelled!

  • Sarh S

Maybe I should try this for my teeth, I wonder if it could help mine at this point. It’s always intriguing on the different things that so much stuff can supposedly help with.

My best friend is constantly saying I need Cod Liver Oil. If I had the money for shipping & handling I would get this, unfortunately I don’t.

  • ERICA HARRISON

Yes I have never tried this type/brand of this before but I must say I would not mind As I’ve heard a lot of good health benefits it can have on your health.

  • Tamra Phelps

It’s really nice of them to offer everyone a bottle of this for just shipping. That’s always a great way to try something out.

  • Brittany Potter

I didn’t know that cod liver oil has so many great benefits, such as strengthening the growth of teeth and bones! I will definitely try cold liver oil! Thank you for the post!

  • Pam Wheeler

I take a cod liver supplement in a tablet form. High cholesterol runs in my family, so it hope it helps me keep mine low. So far, so good.

  • Tamra Phelps

It’s interesting that things like this, which people made fun of years ago, have turned out to be healthy for you. Our Grandmothers were right.

  • Cathy French

I think omega 3’s are super important. I don’t think the multi vitamins even contain them so this is great.

  • Sally Gearhart

My mother’s doctor told her to include different fish oils and not to get the cheapest, to order top quality oils and she had great results! I would love to try this and I’m definitely going to pass this on to her.

  • Paula Ball

I know Iceland is the place for cod however I don’t eat animal products. However my dogs do! Any time I get a rescue with skin issues I start them on fish oil so am thinking I should take advantage of this offer

  • Barrie

I’d add this to a drink, Despite a lemon flavor, I bet it still tastes fishy. Has anyone tried it to know for sure. Either way, a fishy taste is worth it for the benefit!

  • Cathy French

Thanks for posting about this. I think a lot of people aren’t sure about omega 3’s and what they can do.

  • Paula Ball

Reading other comments about adding to drinks, etc & my thoughts are if it tastes bad why suffer through a whole drink? Just take it & then have the drink. Few years back I had to take this dreadfully bad tasting medicine (liquid) & discovered an Atomic Fireball popped in right after will make you forget about the nasty liquid real quick!

I use Barlean’s Seriously Delicious Omega-3 High Potency Fish Oil, Key Lime Pie. Easy to take and tastes good.

  • Tamra Phelps

I’ve always avoided cod liver oil because of the taste, but seeing it lemon flavored is great. That makes it usable for me.

  • Alison King

I never knew all of the benefits of cod liver oil. With it being a liquid, how is the taste? Is it easy to get down? I’m very picky, so that would be my only worry.

  • Cindy S.

I had no idea how many things Cod liver oil was good for. Now I know why my Doctor has been bugging me about supplementing with Omega 3s. I’ll try it out!

  • Cathy French

I have only tried omega capsules. I remember the cod liver oil my mom drank when I was a kid and it smelled horrible. Thankfully things have changed.

  • JoKing

Just wondering if this would cause a reaction for someone with a shellfish allergy. I have heard of people having reactions to Omega 3 supplements before.

  • Karen Propes

I take most of my supplements via tablets. I’m willing to try this and see how I feel. Thanks for sharing.
