It is no secret to anyone that knows me that I am a huge fan of ZeroWater and their amazing 5 Stage Filtration as it provides the most delicious and purest tasting water all while being the only pour-through filters on the market certified by the NSF to reduce lead! That is huge and the biggest reason that ZeroWater is the only water filtration system that I use and there is no better time than August as it is Water Quality Awareness Month!

A few months ago I gave ZeroWater’s 12 cup Water Filter Pitcher a try and let me tell you that it has been a godsend when it comes to my family and our drinking water needs. This pitcher fits beautifully in our fridge and has helped us to cut out the need to purchase bottled water and instead refill our reusable water bottles which not only saves money but also helps to reduce my families plastic waste.

Check out this video which shows how ZeroWater is different from traditional pitchers due to its fabulous 5 stage filter:

With it being Water Quality Awareness Month I wanted to share my love of ZeroWater and their 5 stage filtration as they are the perfect way for me to ensure my family and I can stay hydrated all while enjoying the purest tasting water possible. ZeroWater’s 5 stage filtration system removes TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) from the water that comes out of your tap unlike conventional filter pitchers that remove only about half of them. Dissolved Solids are a measurement of compounds like minerals, salts and organic compounds that are dissolved into water through contact with rock and other surfaces. TDS can be made up of several different types of compounds (including but not limited to): calcium, magnesium, iron, sodium chloride and sulfides ….which are compounds frequently found in groundwater supplies. All of these Total Dissolved Solids are the reason I will only use ZeroWater pitchers & filters going forward as I love knowing that their 5 stage process removed all of the stuff I do not want in my families drinking water.

I love that my ZeroWater 12 Cup Water Filter Pitcher comes with a handy TDS water meter that you can use to ensure that your water is the purest tasting water while also letting you know when it is time to change your pitchers filter. I used the meter to test the water that comes straight from my tap and found that it had 190+ TDS which is crazy…. BUT after I used the ZeroWater pitcher and poured a glass of water… the meter read 0! There were no Total Dissolved Solids after my ZeroWater Filter Pitcher filtered the water. I just picked up a pack of replacement filters also so that I can change out the filter once the meter gives me a reading of 6 on the TDS meter…. but so far it is reading 0 which is awesome. Seriously… my family and I are enjoying the delicious tasting results of ZeroWater’s 5 Stage Filtration because it is effective and works.

TDS Water Meter Results Using Water From The ZeroWater 12 Cup Water Filter Pitcher:

TDS Water Meter Results Using Water Directly From The Tap:

The reading on that last TDS Water Meter is crazy right? The water that comes out of my tap has 190 TDS versus the water that came out of the ZeroWater Pitcher which reads 0 TDS! I test the water from the pitcher twice a week or so to see when I need to replace the 5 Stage Filter in my ZeroWater pitcher but so far it is still reading 0. Once that changes and the TDS Water Meter gives me a reading of 6… I will change the filter. I picked up a 2-pack of ZeroWater Replacement Filters to have on hand so that I am ready for replacing as soon as it is needed but basically I am loving that ZeroWater’s filters are savvy as they truly work and are long lasting.

To wrap it up….According to my personal zero water reviews, I am in love with that and their 5 Stage Filtration. The reasons are many …. but mainly because it is the best filtration available when it comes to hand held filtration for your family. ZeroWater is hands down the only brand I will use as the competition simply cannot compete.

So what do you think of the ZeroWater 12 Cup Water Filter Pitcher? Do you currently use a water pitcher to filter your water or have you used ZeroWater products before? I have a reverse osmosis system in my home. It has a 5 stage filtration process that is similar but the water always has these microbubbles that may not really effect taste but they do bother me. This is much quicker and without the bubbles. I would love to try one at home.

I have been looking into getting a good filtration pitcher soon and I must say, this one does seem awesome! I really love that it holds 12 cups.. really important here in all of this humidity in Georgia! Lastly, I have been getting on to a few of my family members and have suggested a pitcher.. wasting these plastic bottles has turned into a horrible epidemic!

I think we are using the same filtering system in our house though of course from a different brand (here in PH). I like how our water tastes here so may be our waters are kind of similar then. But Yes, all households must have these kinds of water systems for better quality of drinking water.

  • Carolyn Daley

We had a filter put on our house a few years ago but it didn’t work too well. I would love to have a pitcher like this in order to eliminate wasting bottles of money. The Zerowater pitcher would make it easy for me to keep track of how much water I drink.
