Looking for some amazing tunes to listen to while doing pretty much anything? Well you have to check out the debut album from The Queen and The Outcast, titled Whole Damn Mess, and learn about the beautiful back story that brought this album to life. I just love it and once you check out this beautiful album and learn the story behind it, I know that you will to.

On my last post for Whole Damn Mess, I explained that my family & are all about music and we listen to music in our house all of the time. I listen when I am cleaning the house, doing some laundry, cooking, driving and running errands and sometimes while I am working at my desk. My husband just loves listening to music all of the time. I mean all of the time. My daughter Madison is completely the same…. a serious music lover. So with that I have to say that we love all types of music. From 70’s to current…. we love it all. That is why after reading the back story to The Queen and The Outcast, I had to listen to their debut album “Whole Damn Mess”. I was in love right away. Sometimes for me it takes listening to a song a few times before I fall in love and then there are some that as soon as I hear them…. I am in love and like it instantly. That is how I felt with The Queen and The Outcast debut album…. “Whole Damn Mess”. I just love the sound! If you are a fan of One Republic, Train, and Gavin DeGraw, you should really enjoy this soundtrack. I have 2 favorites for sure…. but am loving the album equally. The lyrics are beautiful and the sound is fabulous and fun.

My Favorite Song From The Album…. “And Then They Were” is a fun energetic, upbeat fun song with great lyrics. This is perfect for listening to at home and on the road… and I am for sure loving listening to it. I have to admit that it gets me a bit pumped up. This is the lyric video For you to check out:

“And Then We Were” Fun Fact: “It all happened in a blink. I literally blinked and then we were. This is the blow by blow of our wedding day. Damien Rice sang at the wedding and “Blowers Daughter” is a song of his we reference. Most of my family never tried caviar and for some it didn’t go well with them ” …leaving caviar in the trash”. One guess who the ” queen and the outcast” are.”

And I am also really enjoying the song…. “Anywhere Without You”. This is a cool song with beautiful lyrics and the combination make it a wonderful mellow tune to listen to. I can see myself driving while listening to this song and cleaning and doing projects around the house…. I just love it. This is the lyric video for you to enjoy as well:

“Anywhere Without You” Fun Fact: “This one is a declaration of love and commitment to something greater than yourself. And that outro wrote itself.”

Another goodie…. “We Don’t Need A Reason”…. nice beat and beautiful lyrics with a cool refreshing sound.

“We Don’t Need A Reason” Fun Fact:So Lisa and I fell in love fast. Really fast. It felt like we had this amazing secret and it raised a few eyebrows, including my own! I would sometimes worry that she was a spoiled little rich girl out to break my heart but soon realized this was it, forever love. My first clue was when she confessed she always wanted an Aries with brown hair, blue eyes, who sang in a letter to me. I knew a guy…We finally decided we didn’t owe anyone an explanation and we don’t need a reason.”

Now…. I have to tell you the beautiful back story that is responsible for this music collection from The Queen and the Outcast.

“Success stories don’t usually come with a twist ending. But that’s exactly what happened to singer/songwriter Don Miggs. Only when he stopped trying to force his life to follow the familiar “fame and fortune” narrative did he finally realize that the story he’d already written was far more compelling.”

What I love is that the story behind this album is truly a rock and roll fairy tale. It is the “happy ending” story that we all dream of… especially me growing up as a young girl. You have the old tale of complete opposites…. the Rich Girl and the Bad Boy and how it all comes together is simply sweet and romantic. This fabulous story is the inspiration behind Don Miggs’ new project ‘Whole Damn Mess’. Whole Damn Mess is the debut album of The Queen and the Outcast and the lyrics and sound are the result of this unexpected love story. In Miggs’ revealing, autobiographical songs you will find that a more complex and richly detailed truth emerges. In the process, Miggs realizes that having everything that you need doesn’t mean that you should ever give up on what you have always truly wanted. No matter what anyone thinks…. period. I just love the beautiful lyrics and how they flow beautifully with the music. Whole Damn Mess is a must have for anyone that loves an amazing sound with an amazing message.

So what are your thoughts? Did you check out any of the videos above? Make sure you do because I am loving their sound and the Whole Damn Mess debut album from The Queen and The Outcast is spectacular. This album is a unique love story that you get to enjoy with amazing catchy lyrics and a wonderful sound. It is simply beautiful to listen to and anyone can truly appreciate this special story via song. Simply beautiful.
