Why I’m Loving & Raising Awareness for Oscar’s Place Adoption Center & Sanctuary
Anyone that knows me… knows that I love my family and that always includes my furry family members as well. I have always loved animals since I was a little kid and have been on a mission to bring awareness to animals in need. Whether it be rescuing pets from the animal shelter versus paying big bucks at a breeders to supporting fabulous programs that are helping animals that are in need….. I am always open to being a part and helping out in any way that I can. I recently stumbled upon a post about Oscar’s Place which is an adoption center and sanctuary for Donkeys and I was blown away with all that I had learned about these beautiful creatures and bit upset about other things that I learned. But before I delve into why this cause is so important to me, let me tell you about Oscar’s Place Adoption Center & Sanctuary and how it started.
About Oscar’s Place Donkey Sanctuary:
When an animal suffers because humans are unkind, Oscar’s Place steps in. While they’re just a team of everyday individuals, they deeply care for and are committed to providing a safe haven for farm animals in need. Their current focus right now is on donkeys because the world’s donkey population is being decimated. No…. they are not being decimated by disease, global warming, or predators, but rather because there is a high demand for donkey hides in the creation of a traditional Chinese medicine. Donkeys are some of the most loving and trusting creatures on Earth and they deserve better than to be abused, crowded into horrifying transport containers, and shipped off to slaughter factories. Oscar’s Place love animals, like I do which is why they are looking to team up with other people who also care about what happens to these beautiful creatures.
The best part is it does not take much to make a big difference for these kind loving creatures. You can help by spreading the word via social media to your own friends and family members and you can also make a donation if you are able too. Whatever you can… no amount is too small as it all adds up so whatever you can afford to give to these beautiful creatures will help tremendously. When you make a donation, you will help a donkey to recover emotionally and physically from abuse. You will be restoring their belief in humans as caretakers which is everything to me. Your impact even makes it possible to rehome donkeys to carefully-screened adopters, which enables Oscar’s Place to bring more of these precious animals into their care system.
Can you save a donkey’s life today or can you share this message to bring awareness to this issue to everyone that you know? You can visit the Oscar’s Place website to share with you friends and family members. They have made it super easy as you can share via the share buttons located on the homepage of Oscar’s Place. Donations are appreciated, whether big or small, and keep in mind that Oscar’s Place is a 501(c)3 non-profit meaning all donations are tax deductible. They even have cute items for sale like a mug that I purchased, a candle, hat, socks and more on the site that you can purchase and 100% of the proceeds from the sale of merchandise goes directly to rehabilitating the donkeys at Oscar’s Place. I am so loving this and I truly appreciate and thank you for caring and taking the time to learn more today about Oscar’s Place. Join me in spreading the word and making a small (or large) donation to this amazing program today and share with everyone that you know ;).
This is a collaboration between me and Oscar’s Place Adoption Center & Sanctuary and all opinions are 100% my own.

I never thought about a donkey sanctuary before. It’s definitely something different It sounds like the caretakers really love the animals and take great care of them there.
I will definitely support Oscar’s Place Adoption Center & Sanctuary. Such a nice place. I’m pro adoption instead of buying also. We need to show our compassion and empathy on animals too.
