It is no secret if you visit regularly that I love my family and that definitely includes my Furry BFF’s! My little rescue dog Chewey is 8 years old now and I am always looking for the perfect food for him to sustain him and keep him healthy for many more years to come. My daughter is attached to this little guy as they are besties for sure. Wherever Madison is Chewey is sure to be right by her side. Their attachment to each other is so adorable and one of the many reasons that Chewey’s health and well being is so super important to me.

Recently I have heard some great things about Wellness® Complete Health™ and their delicious line of high quality foods that provide better nutrition via natural ingredients and super nutrients. My girlfriend actually has been using this line of foods and swears by it. Her dogs look amazing and super healthy so I figured it was definitely time to try something new for Chewey. He is super picky about his foods and I have been having a hard time finding something that he truly loves and gets excited about. That has not been the case with Wellness Complete Health. He has been transitioning over to this new line of food for a few days now and loves it! Now remember I told you Chewey is a rescue dog so I have decided, because his teeth are not the best, to start mixing a small amount of wet food to his traditional dry food to help him out a bit and even soften the food a bit. I made sure to pick up the small breed formula of the Wellness Complete Health plus some of their wet foods at my local PetSmart.

The results are in and Chewey is loving Wellness Complete Health (Wet & Dry)! He seriously does not want me mixing during the transition period because he is actually picking it apart and eating the Wellness products versus his other food that I am mixing it with for the first 7 days.  All directions for the transition process, depending on your dogs weight, are listed on the bag of Wellness Complete Health and it is super important to slowly transition your dog from his or her current diet as it takes a few days for the body to adapt to the new nutrient levels. Chewey is loving this and I have never seen him like a food so much! He gets excited so I am getting excited! I cannot wait to see the results as Wellness Complete Health is all about the 5 Sign Of Wellness. Let me tell you what those are & why they are so important:

The 5 Signs Of Wellness

  • Skin & Coat: Essential vitamins and minerals as well as guaranteed levels of Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids that support your dog’s skin, coat and health.
  • Energy: A balanced blend of high quality proteins, grain free carbohydrates and select fats that provide the energy your dog needs to thrive.
  • Digestive Health: A combination of healthy fiber, chicory root extract and probiotics help support healthy digestion.
  • Eyes, Teeth & Gums: Guaranteed levels of Vitamin A help support healthy eyes while calcium and phosphorus help support healthy teeth and gums.
  • Immunity: Antioxidant rich fruits and vegetables and nutritional supplements such as Vitamin E help support a healthy immune system.

So as you can see, the benefits of feeding Wellness to your Furry Family Members allows you to see the signs of true pet health and well being. The 5 Signs of Wellness is a huge plus to me and I cannot wait to see these benefits in action once Chewey has transitioned completely to Wellness and continues to eat Wellness Complete Health. I will share his journey with you over the next few months so be on the lookout!

I’m always looking for the best food for my dog, but it can be very confusing. I should try this brand.

It is true that choosing the right food for your pet can be confusing—that’s why posts like these are important. We love @wellness Complete Health Dog Food and our kitty loves their cat food, too!

This dog food sounds like it would be great! I will be telling my daughter who has a little guy named Chewy. It would be wonderful for him to use!!

He is super tiny and when we rescued him they told us he was 6 months old but when we went to the vets…. he said by the array of teeth he had thta he was at least a year and a half maybe two years old…. so his age is a mystery for sure. He is such an amazing and loyal pet and my daughter is obsessed with him. 🙂 Wellness provides delicious and healthy foods for pets!

Chewey is too cute for words! I’ve seen this brand in the store but have not yet tried it. It will be in my cart the next time I shop at Petsmart.

I’ve never used this brand, but I may check it out soon. My ‘small dog’ is getting older and her energy is waning. I have to be careful how much I feed because she will ‘chunk up’ if I don’t!

I have a couple of dogs. It’s important to feed them nutritious dog food. The 5 Signs Of Wellness list was informative.

I also love my two rescue dogs that are now 16 years old. Their lives may have started out a little ruff but they have been healthy dogs for many years. They slow down a little but are still doing their thing. lol thanks

Thank you for your review. There are so many types of food out there and I never know which one is the best. I will certainly look for this brand.
