Do you enjoy a good movie? Do you enjoy a good movie based on a true story, like myself? Well you have to mark your calendars to see Lost on a Mountain in Maine in theaters starting November 1st! The entire family will enjoy this one and I love that it is based on a true story as I find them the most moving. Lost on a Mountain in Maine is the inspiring true story of 12 year old Donn Fendler who was separated from his family by a fast-moving storm that came upon them while climbing the mountain. Donn finds himself lost and alone and he must fight to stay alive while lost for nine days in the remote wilderness of northern Maine. Donn’s disappearance captures national headlines and sparks a massive search effort that attracts hundreds of volunteers, including his own father who fears he may never see his son again. It is such a wonderful film and it is one that I will purchase to watch again and again. I also want to pick up the book as this movie is based upon the true story told in Lost on a Mountain in Maine….. a book written by Donn Fendler. I personally love too that this wonderful film is produced by Sylvester Stallone as he to me is a true inspiration in his own right and I knew it had to be good if he had anything to do with it. I love this film and you have to see it for yourself! Take the whole family as everyone will enjoy this one.

Looks amazing right!? And did I tell you that this wonderful film is based on a book written by Donn Fendler himself? Based on the book by the same name, it’s the inspiring story of a 12-year-old boy, who, separated from his family by a fast moving storm, must fight to stay alive during his nine-day adventure lost in the backwoods of Maine. Seriously, he was a brave kid and I cannot imagine going through what he did and he came through it and it made him a stronger individual because of it.
