‘I Want To Trust You But I Don’t’ Book and Study Guide Review

I am excited to share a book and study guide that I recently had the chance to review called I Want To Trust You, But I Don’t Book and Study Guide. These are two amazing resources created to be used together and/or separately and the main focus of these two fabulous resources is learning to trust again. In this book and study guide, New York Times bestselling author Lysa TerKeurst shows you what to do with your skepticism and distrust so that you can heal from past betrayals and begin moving forward again with strength and resilience. It helps you to understand that broken trust can be a challenge for anyone to deal with and that it can leave you wondering ‘Can anyone really be trusted?’, ‘What if distrust is actually the wisest choice to make? and/or ‘What do I do with my doubts about God when He allows bad things to happen?’ These are all legitimate questions for someone to ask that has been burned in the past and it may have you asking ‘Are there biblical answers for any of this?’….. and this is why I knew I wanted to check out this book as Lysa understands this kind of deep wrestling and has asked these very same hard questions in the midst of her own relational heartbreaks and uncontrollable circumstances. By using these two resources, anyone can begin healing and find the peace that isn’t dependent on unpredictable people, circumstances, and experiences but rather…. it provides a practical and biblical way to make real progress toward healthier perspectives, relationships, and a future you can seriously look forward too.

Trust is literally the oxygen of all human relationships, but did you know that it is also what trips you up after you’ve been burned? Maybe you have a friend that seems to constantly let you down? Or a leader or organization you respect turns out to be different than they portray themselves to be? Maybe you have been burned by your spouse after he has cheated on you? Or maybe a family member has betrayed you and left you feeling as if you can’t trust anyone? Do you find yourself exhausted by other people’s choices and starting to question your own discernment? And maybe you’re even beginning to wonder….. If God let this happen, can he even be trusted? If any of these situations pertain to you, you need to grab a copy of I Want To Trust You, But I Don’t as it has helped me and it can for sure help you too.

I Want to Trust You, But I Don’t will help you to search for answers to help with those trust issues that so many of us suffer from. You may be asking yourself how can you live well and step into the future when you keep stumbling over trust issues? Well….. Lysa TerKeurst says it’s not just about finding better people to walk with but rather it’s about developing the stability you long for within yourself and with God, so that you don’t become negative and carry all of that baggage into every new relationship that comes your way. In I Want to Trust You, But I Don’t, Lysa will also show you how to:

*Identify which of the eleven relational red flags are stirring up distrust in you, so you can pinpoint why you’re feeling uneasy in the first place.

*Stop having more faith in your fears coming true rather than God coming through for you by asking crucial “what if” questions to better process your doubts and to stop them in their tracks.

*Recognize when a fractured relationship can be repaired by considering a reasonable list of characteristics necessary for rebuilding trust and

*Understand the physical, emotional, and neurological impacts of the betrayals that you have experienced and begin the healing process from the inside out.

So what do you think of these two incredible resources….. the I Want To Trust You, But I Don’t Book and Study Guide?! Are you like myself and have trust issues from past experiences that you never properly healed from and that you are carrying with you into your adult life? You need to grab this book and study guide from New York Times bestselling author Lysa TerKeurst as I am loving it and learning so much. I will be checking out other books from her too as the reviews that I read for her speak volumes. Grab your copy of I Want To Trust You, But I Don’t today and begin the healing process that you have been in need of just like myself and remember…. having your trust broken can be life-altering, but it doesn’t have to be life-ruining!
