MY REVIEW

If you’re looking for a children’s book that brings together dinosaurs, Hanukkah, and plenty of playful fun, then Hear Me Roar! I’m a HANUKKAHsaur by Naomi Gruer deserves a spot on your reading list! I totally loved every minute of this super fun read. I mean, dinosaurs celebrating Hanukkah? How fun is that?! This adorable and creative concept immediately caught my attention because it takes the excitement of everyone’s favorite prehistoric creatures and combines it with the traditions of the Festival of Lights in a way that feels fresh, festive, and perfect for little readers.

One of the things I love about a book like this is how it can make holiday reading even more exciting for children. The dinosaur theme adds a wonderful dose of silliness and imagination, while the Hanukkah connection creates a fun opportunity for families to talk about holiday traditions, celebrate together, and make special memories through reading. The illustrations by Mel Zohar add to the playful feel, bringing the book’s dinosaur-filled world to life and giving little ones plenty to look at as they follow along. It’s the kind of book that can turn story time into a fun family activity, complete with dinosaur roars and lots of giggles!

I also love that Hear Me Roar! I’m a HANUKKAHsaur offers something a little different from the usual holiday storybooks. It would make a thoughtful addition to a child’s Hanukkah book collection, a fun gift for a little dinosaur enthusiast, or a festive surprise for a family looking to add more holiday reading to their celebrations. If you have a young reader who loves dinosaurs and enjoys discovering the magic of the holidays, this delightful book is definitely worth checking out. Get ready to roar, celebrate, and make some wonderful Hanukkah memories!
