2022 Best Oven Toaster Recipes To Try
3 mouthwatering recipes that will get you up in the morning
Many people see having a toaster oven in their kitchen as a negative – when in fact, it is quite the opposite. A toast oven is an amazing piece of kit that you can use to cook a near-infinite amount of things, without having to sacrifice space (like you do with a full oven).
Today, we are going to share with you three of our favorite toaster oven recipes.
Guacamole BTL toastie
Toasties – delicious. BTL sandwiches – delicious. Guacamole – delicious. This recipe has everything going for it, and it is so simple to make.
Ingredients:
Lettuce
2 Tomatoes
3 strips of bacon
Homemade bread, 2 slices- for more information on how to make the perfect homemade bread see here
Cheese slices (pick your favorite type of cheese, we recommend Gouda)
Avocado
Spring onions
Garlic
Chili Flakes
Olive oil
Step 1 – If you like your bacon crispy then you might want to cook it for 6-8 minutes in the toaster oven before cooking anything else.
Step 2 – Prepare the Guacamole. Place half an avocado in a pestle and mortar, add a minced clove of garlic, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of chili flakes. Grind all the ingredients together – add a squeeze of lemon if you want to keep the Guacamole for more than a day.
Step 3 – Brush the tops and bottoms of the bread with olive oil. Then place a layer of cheese on each slice of bread. On one side of the toastie place the bacon and cover it with Guacamole and on the other side layer your lettuce and tomato.
Step 4 – Place the sandwich together and toast the whole thing for around 10 minutes. Remove from the toaster oven and enjoy.
French Toast
Who doesn’t love crunchy, sweet French toast covered in cinnamon and vanilla? We do! We’re getting hungry just thinking about it!
This recipe is so easy. It only requires 5 ingredients and it takes less than 10 minutes to put together. The effort to deliciousness ratio is off the charts.
Ingredients:
Homemade bread
100g of butter
1 tsp of cinnamon
2 tsp of sugar
3-5 drops of vanilla essence
Step 1 – Mix the sugar, cinnamon, vanilla essence, and butter together. Then place in the toaster oven for a few minutes. This will allow the sugar to slightly caramelize and for the rest of the ingredients to mix together.
Step 2 – Spread the butter mixture generously across the top of your bread. Then place the bread in the toaster for 4-5 minutes.
Step 3 – When the bread is looking well toasted, switch your toaster oven to broiler mode for 30 seconds. This will give the toast a sweet caramel crunch when you bite into it for the first time.
Step 4 -Take the bread out of the toaster oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes. Then, tuck in and enjoy your tasty treat.
Cookies
You’re probably shocked to see that we have included a cookie recipe on this list! But, don’t be. It is more than possible to cook a delicious batch of cookies in your toaster oven.
What is even better about this recipe is that it takes less than 20 minutes in total. So it is perfect for those days when you are in a hurry and you don’t have time to bake anything for hours. With this recipe, you just need to mix everything together, bake, and then enjoy.
This recipe only contains 4 ingredients and is easily customizable. If you love peanut butter cookies then add some peanut butter. If you love chocolate chip cookies then add some chocolate chips. Or you can just sit back and enjoy this simple yet addictive cookie recipe.
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1⁄2 cup milk
Step 1 – Sive your flour into a bowl. Then sive the baking powder over it. Then mix the two ingredients together.
Step 2 – Melt the butter and then pour it slowly into the dry mix, stirring as you go.
Step 3 – Stir in the milk until the dough reaches a firm but slightly sticky consistency. Then put flour down on your work surface.
Step 4 – Roll out the dough and cut it into small circles. Place the cookies onto a greased baking tray.
Step 5 – Bake the cookies at 425°F for 6-8 minutes.
Step 6 – allow the cookies to cool, then serve to your grateful friends and family.

Recipe sounds good. I once baked chocolate chip cookies in my toaster oven when I didn’t have access to an oven. Had to flip them but they still turned out awesome according to the guys who ate them. When necessary any device can create great food with imagination.
