I am excited to share a movie that I absolutely feel in love with and that is available today on Pure Flix and it is called “God’s Country Song”. “God’s Country Song” is a movie about faith, family and fatherhood which makes it the perfect film to watch this Father’s Day. In Pure Flix Original movie, Noah is a broken man pursuing his dreams at all costs. While out touring and making something of his dreams to be a country singer, Noah discovers that he may be a father after receiving a letter form an attorney letting hi know that the young boys mom passed away. After a paternity test, he discovers that he is indeed the father a sets out to meet the young boy named JJ. This leads Noah onto a journey of redemption and forgiveness, as he rediscovers what truly matters in life……faith and family. It Is such a beautiful film and one that my whole family can enjoy which is everything. Pure Flix truly has the best assortment of fabulous movies and shows that I can truly never get enough of and this new addition to the Pure Flix Originals line up is one not to be missed.

“God’s Country Song” is a multigenerational story about faith, fatherhood and forgiveness. You learn all about how Noah has always resented his father for not supporting his dreams of fame and fortune when it comes to being a country singer, but later learns how his father gave up his own ambitions to serve God and his family. This is where Noah learns a valuable lesson and one that changes his outlook one life.
Let me tell you about the characters:
Noah is a country music star on the rise. Living life in the fast lane, he’s focused on his music, drinking and fame.
Larry, Noah’s manager, looks out for Noah on the road and tries to reason with him and wishes Noah wasn’t so prideful and would take things more seriously. He also tells Noah an attorney has reached out to ask Noah to do a paternity test for a little boy whose mother just passed away and is with child services.
After Noah meets JJ, they pause Noah’s tour and move in with Noah’s parents on the farm he grew up on.
Noah and his father aren’t on the best of terms. Noah’s dad has never come to see him play at a show.
Noah gets a gig opening for a big country star, Colt Young. The caveat is his record label requires there be no drinking or alcohol on the tour. Noah then prepares for the Colt Young tour, leaving his son with his parents on the farm.
Leeann (social worker that kept JJ until Noah met him. She comes to see Noah at a show to check in on JJ and she makes him realize that it’s no longer just about him and his dreams anymore.
After a fight with his dad, Noah remembers his brother Joe who died. As he struggles to cope with his new responsibilities and family dynamics, he returns to his old habits and unravels. Noah’s dad then confronts him over his drinking and for not taking proper responsibility for JJ.
After a bar brawl, Noah is kicked off Colt Young’s tour. He then learns more about his parents past and realizes why his father is so against him chasing his dreams instead of protecting and supporting his family.
Noah’s mom invites Leeann to dinner to check on JJ and she and Noah grow closer.
