The Reasons I’m Loving The Chapin Multi-Purpose Hand Sprayer
I’m so excited that the weather is finally breaking and I can finally start prepping my yard for the growing season. Seriously it is something that I look forward to after each cold winter as I get excited when I see the daffodils popping up out of the ground and the Forsynthia bushes blooming. They’re the first signs of Spring and they truly get me excited for the warmer months ahead. The Perfect Size
First I want to talk about how beautifully crafted the Chapin Multi-Purpose Hand Sprayer is and how easy it is to use. I love love love that it is made in the USA and I also love its size. The size is perfect for me at 48 ounces as it holds just enough to get whatever job I am using it for completed and all without the sprayer ending up too heavy for my hand.
I can comfortably hold this hand sprayer due to its ergonomically designed handle. It is very comfortable to hold, even when it’s full. Not only that but it’s also extremely easy to pump as well. Once you get the pressure built up in the Chapin Hand Sprayer it becomes a spraying machine that can tackle any job you throw its way.
Water My Plants & Garden
The Chapin 48 ounce Hand Sprayer is the perfect sprayer to use for watering my outdoor (and indoor!) plants. I can adjust the nozzle to create a direct stream to water my plants at the base and I can also adjust the nozzle to create a fine mist. That mist is perfect for my Ferns, Orchids, Peace Lily’s and more.
You can see that we just planted some new Daffodil plants in the picture above. The Chapin Hand Sprayer was the perfect way to water them once planted. I have to say that I have a newfound love for Daffodils as they are the one flower that the Deer will not eat! We have learned the hard way, and purchased deer resistant plants and the deer still ate them but for whatever reason they won’t touch the Daffodils. I add more of them to my yard each year and love them as the pop of yellow each Spring makes me smile.
Clean My Driveway
The Chapin Multi-Purpose Hand Sprayer is seriously perfect for so many projects around my home including using it to apply a combination of bleach and water to the moss growing on our driveway. We live in The Pocono mountains and there are trees all around so moss will grow anywhere that it is damp enough. These moss patches started growing in the bend of our driveway and we simply diluted bleach with water and used the Chapin Hand Sprayer to treat the surface. It worked perfectly!
Treat My Bushes
Some of the Azalea bushes on our property have shown signs of Brown Splotch so we decided to use a fungicide to treat them once we cleaned the ground around them and trimming away any infected leaves. The Chapin Hand Sprayer worked perfectly at applying the solution and we will continue monitoring the issue and using the sprayer to retreat as needed.
You can see the fine mist above spraying onto the leaves. You simply twist the nozzle and it adjusts to your liking perfectly.
Treat The Perimeter Of My House
We also used the Chapin Hand Sprayer to apply a water based insecticide to the perimeter of our home. We will retreat as needed but it worked beautifully at applying with no mess.
For this project we twisted the adjustable poly cone nozzle to spray a stream at the base of the home perimeter. You can see that it provides a nice strong and clean stream too.

The Chapin Hand Sprayer will be the perfect way for me to fertilize my indoor and outdoor plants too. I will use a water soluble fertilizer and mix it well with water, add it to the Chapin Hand Sprayer and then simply apply it to the base of the plants and into the soil.
This hand sprayer is also perfect for using to clean outdoor furniture and more. Not only that but it can be used for crafting and DIY projects too. You can use the sprayer for crafting projects such as applying water based paints to your DIY art project or crafts. Heck it can even be used for indoor renovation projects such as using it to spray your popcorn ceilings with water so that you can remove the popcorn texture! How cool is that!?

Yes! It is an amazing sprayer and love the many uses too! There is so much more that you can do with this…. even crafting with water based paints and I have seen others use it to remove their popcorn celiings. They use it to spray water onto the ceiling surface and then scrape the popcorn off! Genius!

I have a flower garden and I use a watering can to fertilize my plants. I would love to have that instead. I think it’s easier to use.
