I love toys and have been a huge fan of educational and fun crafting sets since I was a little kid. My grandmother would spend every summer crafting with me, playing with me and more. Because of that wonderful experience with my grandmother growing up, I wanted to do the same for my kids and gift them with the love of crafting and playing with fun educational toys as it is something that they can always enjoy for themselves and with their own kids one day. That is why I was so excited to share some of my favorite brands that are guaranteed to be a hit with kids of all ages. I am a huge fan of Thames & Kosmos, Alex Brands, Magformers and Wild Republic as they have amazing toys and crafting sets that are perfect for keeping the kiddos entertained all while learning and playing plus they are quality products that they can enjoy for years to come. The Thames & Kosmos: I Dig It! Dinos ~ Glow-In-The-Dark T.Rex Excavation Kit is one of my favorites from this line up. This is the type of educational kit that I would have loved as a kid. With this super fun set your kid will play the role of a paleontologist and excavate a replica of a dinosaur fossil relief all by themselves. They will have to use the hammer and chisel to go on a hunt for a Tyrannosaurus rex, the dangerous prehistoric giant that we all know and love. They can excavate the skeleton relief from the surrounding soft plaster block and the kit contains everything they will need to get the job done perfectly. The kit includes the skeleton relief buried in a plaster block, the excavation tools, and a descriptive, easy to follow manual. This set is perfect for ages 7 & Up.

You can create your own snuggly, terror-of-the-deep blanket, that you crawl inside of, with this fabulous crafting kit. The blanket is ideal for naps, sleepovers or binge-watching your favorite show.
