It is no secret that one of the most common complaints about cutlery is that it is not safe to wash them in the dishwasher. I mean let’s be honest…. we are all so busy and if we can find a set of knives that we can simply add to our dishwasher each day when we clean a load of dishes versus having to hand wash each piece to keep the knife set safe and at top performance is a dream come true! That is why I am so excited to tell you all about this new set of knives from Farberware. The Farberware Knife Armor Dishwasher Safe Knives come in a beautiful wooden knife block and you receive 13 pieces total. The set includes a 8” chef knife, 8” bread knife, 5” santoku knife, 5.5” serrated utility knife, 3.5” paring knife, (6) 4.5” steak knives, a set of kitchen shears and the wood block to keep it all stored safely in.

What makes this set dishwasher safe and your life easier…. is that the Farberware Knife Armor collection features a premium Japenese stainless steel blade that is protected with a rust resistant coating. These knives have been thoroughly tested in a commercial dishwasher and can more than withstand heat above the recommended dishwasher temperature of 185 degrees F. These knives are crafted of carbon stainless steel and are perfect for everyday use and for precision while cutting. Farberware handles are ergonomically designed for comfort and better control while using and are lightweight for easy precision. Farberware also provides non-slip handles that provide a solid and sure grip even when wet. All parts of the stainless steel cutlery are kept neat and organized in the natural colored knife block that is included with set and the block allows for easy organization in the kitchen.

I am personally loving this gorgeous set of knives from Farberware. I used this set when chopping some onions and peppers recently and it cut through the veggies like butter. It was so easy. Next was the true test of any good knife set and that is slicing some thin tomato slices. Again it was like cutting or slicing through butter when slicing my tomatoes. That is a true testament to the quality of these knives and I am loving the results. The steak knives are amazing as well. I love the entire set but have to admit that I was most excited about the 5″ Santoku Knife as it is a handy knife to have and one that I did not yet have in my knife collection.  This knife is perfect for chopping my garlic and shallots! This is a fabulous set for anyone and everyone plus I have to admit that I have always trusted the Farberware brand as my mom used their products in her kitchen when I was growing up. I did a lot of the cooking for my busy single mom as a teenager and I always used these products and love them today as I did then. They seem to get better and better. I love that.
