I am super excited to share a movie that I loved and that you will too. It is THE HOMESCHOOL AWAKENING and it is available nationwide June 13 & 14!  In this wonderful film you will hear more about the value of homeschooling from a homeschool dad himself: Kirk Cameron! and I love it! I will be honest… my kids are now out of school BUT if they were younger and I had to send them to public schools on this day and age… I would have for sure chosen homeschooling. I always thought people that homeschool were robbing their kids of the real experience of public school but in this day and age where they are teaching young kids inappropriate things by my standards…. I can understand why someone would homeschool.

What I loved about this film is hearing all of the stories from people of all cultures and backgrounds in our country. It really shows that some people are good at teaching and others are not, but it shares that parents do not have to have a degree in a particular course of education to teach their children.Just because a person does not have a degree I education, does not make them a horrible teacher at all…. we all learn as we go and allowing your child to learn in. the real world is a great thing. As a parent myself, I only want what is best for my kids and I realize that if my kids were in school today… homeschooling would be my choice as you can make learning fun and most importantly add faith back into learning by doing bible study classes and more. I think that is what is missing so badly in our public schools these days… the anti-faith agenda. We can make that change by scrolling our kids at home.
