I am super excited to share PureFlix with you all as they have the most amazing selection of movies for the Easter season that are perfect for the entire family. Easter for me and my family is a time for rejoicing and remembering the amazing sacrifice that Jesus made for us all. PureFlix has the perfect selection of Easter movies that will guide you while preparing for the season at hand and they will for sure get you into the spirit of the season. The best part is that these movies leave you feeling inspired and encouraged, which is why I had to share with you all.

My husband and I love the classics available on PureFlix for the Easter season. You can find an amazing selection of movies such as The Passion of The Christ, Risen ,The Apostle Peter and so much more. But the movies do not stop with these adult classics as PureFlix has the most amazing selection of Easter movies for the kids to enjoy as well. These Easter films made for the kids are the perfect way to share the Easter story with even the youngest members of your household. You can stream these movies anytime that you want and they are the perfect way to discuss the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection with your kids.

Here are a few of my Easter favorites for the adults from PureFlix…….

2) RISEN: RISEN is the epic Biblical story of the Resurrection, as told through the eyes of a non-believer.

3) THE APOSTLE PETER: This compelling Pure Flix Entertainment original movie tells the story of the Apostle Peter, a disciple of Jesus and monumental figure of the early church.

And for the kids:

1) VEGGIETALES: TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE EASTER: Join your favorite VeggieTales characters as Marlee Meade is bored in her role as a cable news reporter. In her attempt to help, she actually ruins a production for the Easter celebration.

2) LION OF JUDAH: Follow along with these barnyard friends as they try to save a lamb, who thinks he’s a lion, from becoming part of the sacrificial altar at Passover. Can a cow, pig, chicken, and donkey save the day? And what lessons about courage, faith, and hope will they learn?

3) THE PASSION: A BRICKFILM: The Passion: A Brickfilm accurately portrays the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection through the eyes of LEGO® characters.

My favorite of all of the movies above are The Passion of The Christ, which as mentioned above is only suitable for 17+ as it is so realistic in its depictions os the last 12 hours of Jesus’ life. This is the same version that was seen in theaters upon its release and I love it. The movie covers the story of the trial, beating and crucifixion of Jesus on Good Friday while providing flashbacks to times during Jesus’ life and ministry. Things like….

*Last Supper and Communion

*Sermon on the Mount and the Good Shepherd

*Forgiveness

*Salvation
