MY REVIEW

As an avid reader, I can say that I loved The Infinite Glade by James Dashner! It’s the long-awaited finale to The Maze Cutter trilogy and it marks the official conclusion to the Maze Runner universe. It carries the weight of expectation, the promise of revelations, and an ending that must tie up strands that have been growing across numerous books and I can say that I totally loved it! I had a hard time putting this one down once I started reading it and that to me speaks volumes about what an amazing read this is. I’m a huge fan of the original series and could not wait to get my hands on this one and it did not disappoint.

The Infinite Glade is set some decades after the events of the original Maze Runner series and picks up the threads of The Maze Cutter books. The Remnant Nation is finally ready to act, while others are still wrangling with questions about identity, evolution, the nature of the Goddess (or “Godhead”), and what “the Cure” really means. Key characters like Isaac, Ximena, Jackie, Sadina, and Old Man Frypan are all drawn back into the center as various factions clash: some believe in the Goddess, others want to destroy her, and many are caught in between, trying to protect people they love while figuring out what is true. The maze trials, long-hidden secrets, moral ambiguity, and stakes of survival all come to a head.

If I were to sum up: The Infinite Glade delivers for the diehard Maze Runner fan. It gives you many of the revelations and emotional resolutions you’ve probably been waiting for like myself and with that being said….. I loved it. It was hard to put down once I started reading it and that is huge for me as I have not found a book in recent years that drew me in like that. Check out this one for yourself….. especially if you love a good dystopian novel!
