Care For The Wood In Your Home Beautifully With Scott’s Liquid Gold

I am super excited to share with everyone that I know that my husband and I bought a new home! I cannot wait to get in there as we are getting ready to move our belongings in the next few weeks and it is going to be a blast decorating and setting everything up to make it our own. Cleaning and getting ready for the move is everything and making sure that you have the proper cleaning products for all types of surfaces is super important. This includes wood surfaces as we have lots of wood furniture pieces and our new home has lots of wood features built in. It’s a mountain home in the Poconos and they are built with wood beams, gorgeous wood stairs, railings, closet doors, and more and I cannot wait to share but in the meantime I had to share Scott’s Liquid Gold with you as it is perfect for ensuring your wood furniture is cared for as well as nurtured so that it lasts for years and years to come.

Scott’s Liquid Gold has two amazing products that I cannot live without. Scott’s Liquid Gold Wood Care and Scott’s Liquid Gold One Clean Home Multi-Surface Foaming Cleaner. They are both amazing products and they smell amazing too which is everything to me. Let’s take a look at each and why I am loving them…..

Scott’s Liquid Gold ONE CLEAN HOME®

Scott’s Liquid Gold ONE CLEAN HOME® is a multi-surface foaming cleaner that is safe to use on wood and more! This wonderful product is something to love as it uses naturally occurring, non-toxic citric acid to clean all kinds of household messes for a clean that you can feel good about and that is safe to use around people, pets and the planet! Oh and the amazingly fresh and clean grapefruit scent is an added bonus that I truly appreciate.

Scott’s Liquid Gold One Clean Home works on all types of hard surfaces such as finished wood surfaces, wood laminates, stainless steel, tile, plastic, metal, stone, porcelain, and vinyl. Plus it works beautifully at cleaning greasy, grimy, gritty, goopy messes and it makes cleaning those messes a breeze. I absolutely love the foaming no-drip formula as it stays where you put it and it does not drip BUT It is recommended to do a spot test on a small inconspicuous area first just to be on the safe side when first using.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

1) Spray 6 – 8 inches from dirty surface, spread evenly and wipe away! Repeat as needed.

2) For tough messes, let it sit, then wipe away.

3) On wood surfaces follow up with Scott’s Liquid Gold Wood Care® to treat and protect after cleaning with Scott’s Liquid Gold One Clean Home.

Scott’s Liquid Gold® Wood Care

Scott’s Liquid Gold® Wood Care is the only wood polishing product for me. Scott’s Liquid Gold Wood Care is trusted to care for real wood as it visibly hydrates and deeply nourishes all while cleaning and dusting your wood furniture and wood surfaces. I absolutely appreciate that this product perfect balances moisture to enhance the natural beauty, texture, and grain of real wood making it the unique masterpiece that it is.

Scott’s Liquid Gold Wood Care has a fabulous fresh almond scent and is available in aerosol which I prefer and also in a pourable option. This product visibly hydrates and deeply nourishes wood all while cleaning and dusting. The wood surface seriously looks like new once you use the Wood Care on it and this will be the perfect product for all of the wood beams, doors and stairs that I have in our new home and I will be updating to reflect that so you can see the powerhouse that this little bottle is. Rest assured that there is no wax, silicone or nuts and nut by-products in Scott’s Liquid Gold Wood Care and it is always recommended to spot test on a small area first plus keep in mind that wood may appear darker after using this product until it absorbs completely.

DIRECTION FOR USE

1) Spray on lint-free cloth (making sure the cloth is lint-free ensures there is no lint left behind after you clean your wood surface)

2) Spread evenly on finished wood surfaces.

3) Remove any excess product with a clean cloth and buffing out reduces residual oil, as well as brings out the full shine of Wood Care.

Scott’s Liquid Gold Wood Care has many other uses too! Clean & Polish Stainless Steel and other metal surfaces, plus it can be used as a lubricant for squeaky hinges, household fans, bicycle chains, swirl chairs, nuts and bolts, sliding door tracks and more! You can even clean and soften the leather on ball mitts and hiking boots and clean and restore things like window screens, stained glass, unpainted wood or even metal window blinds. It also hepiclps to remove stickers from bumpers and more… so not only is this a fabulous wood care product but it is literally a ‘jack of all trades’ cleaning product that can help you with so much around the house.

So what do you think of these two must have products from Scott’s Liquid Gold? Scott’s Liquid Gold…. At the turn of the 20th century, was developed by a man named Lee Scott who made an amber-colored wood care product that he described as ‘liquid gold’. Liquid Gold was known to restore, preserve and protect all types of natural wood furniture, cabinets and decor and at the time it was a local favorite that was sold door-to-door in Denver, Colorado, for many years. That is until Ida Goldstein bought the treasured formula for her sons. Still based in the Denver area, Scott’s Liquid Gold continues to develop, market, and sell household and personal care products that consumers know and trust.
