5 Luxe Essentials for Beach Fun
As we finally say goodbye to winter and the temperatures start to rise, it’s time to start thinking about vacations and those long summer days on the beach. While most of us only pack the necessary gear for the beach (swimsuits, towels, and sunscreen), how about updating your kit to turn a great beach day into the ultimate seaside experience? Here are five items of quality equipment that add a touch of luxe to the essentials you need for a beach day.
1. Cool bag
Whether you are yachting in the ocean or keeping your feet firmly on the ground, a cool bag is a must-have for the discerning beach goer. Te problem with standard coolers is that they don’t often manage to keep the contents completely frozen or chilled when exposed to harsh sunlight and hot t-emperatures for prolonged periods; however, the YETI Hopper Two, accomplishes this with ease, is virtually indestructible and looks sensational too.
2. Wireless speakers
While you don’t want to be that person on the beach who annoys other beachgoers with music blaring loudly, you may want to add to the ambience with some tunes. Gone are the days when you had to wrap your portable stereo in a plastic bag to protect it from the water and sand and take spare batteries; now there are wireless waterproof speakers which have up to 12 hours of battery life that can even charge your cell phone. You could also protect your area with some windbreakers or use a beach umbrella to make the space yours. There is research you can do into umbrellas, e.g. looking at the Best Beach Umbrella of 2019: Reviews with Comparisons
3. Sunglasses
How many pairs of sunglasses have you lost in the surf? Swimming in sunglasses always seems like a good idea, but seldom is it a wise choice too. Let the days of squinting in the sun be a thing of the past, as now you can upgrade to shades that float, so whether you are a surfer, a fisherman or just a swimmer; you can be rest assured that you will return to the shore with your sunglasses.
4. Surfboard
Frustrated by the lack of waves to ride? Jetsurfny.com provide surfers with the ultimate in motorized surfboards so that waves can be ridden even if the water is as flat as a dew pond. There will be no more days of missed opportunities, every trip to the ocean or lake will be a guaranteed day of surf.
5. Camera
Cameras are notoriously difficult to protect on the beach: sand can scratch the lens, and unless you have a waterproof camera, taking pictures near the water can be hazardous. So, to help avoid mishap and reduce risk, you can simply use a waterproof casing for your cell phone. This also removes the expense of having to buy a camera for capturing underwater scenes, and you have the benefit of being able to easily upload your stills and videos to social media or e-mail to friends and family.
A day out at the beach whether ocean or lakeside is a wonderful way to spend time with friends and family, or simply as a place to have time out by yourself. These five items raise the stakes of beachside fun, so what are you waiting for? Get planning your next beach day.

Wireless speakers are a must, of course. The bag is also a must, but I need to get a Yeti. That is the best of the best! Great list.

This is a great list of essentials for the beach, thanks for sharing! I also think that a sand proof blanket is really helpful as well. Oh and if you have babies or small children with you, a covered play yard or even a tent is a must!

Got to have reliable products to use at the beach, definitely a lot more fun when you know things are kept dry and protected.
