MY REVIEW

I am so glad to have been able to review Trusting Timothy: A Story About Cheating as this book brought me back to my childhood of spending summers with my grandmother. It pulled at my heartstrings as my Grandmother is the one that taught me all about my faith and love for Jesus, just as Timothy’s Grandmother Lois did. He went to her church and learned beautiful Bible verses during Bible study and listened to his Grandmothers wise words telling him…. “Continue to learn the Scriptures. God’s Word will always help you in times of need, trouble, and in making tough decisions.” Little did Timothy know that these lessons would be the perfect thing to help him when going to his new school, meeting new friends and more. Timothy finds himself having to choose to do the right thing even though his new friends want to take the easy way out and cheat. Timothy decides to study for the History test instead of cheating and it paid off in a big way…. he got a A! It also helped him when playing a basketball game and choosing to play on the team opposite his new friends as they were again going to cheat to try and win. The end result…. Timothy and his team won and the cheaters lost out each and every time. I absolutely loved this story and this for me is most definitely one of my favorite books so far for children as I love the message that it provides and I love that it also supports my Faith. I do not know what I would have done if my grandmother had not taught me about Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit as it definitely made me the person that I am today and that is a beautiful thing and this book brought me right back there. It is like this book was made for me and my family as the lessons within are invaluable and a beautiful thing. I highly recommend this beautifully created book and a huge thank you to the Bryant Family for creating it!
