MY REVIEW
Tiki Time: It’s My Turn is a super fun read that I enjoyed reading aloud with my daughter and I love that it’s designed to be read by turning the book on its side. This is a wonderful story about Tiki who lives in Tiki Town…. which is a magical town in a tiny jungle that sits on a tiny island. He is a boy of integrity that seems to have lost his way a bit and is sent off to clear his mind by taking a walk through the jungle. While walking, he meets the magical spirit Fetu that sends him on a mission to defeat King Lauia. It makes it an extra special and unforgettable read for sure and it’s designed for ages 6 to 8 but I have read it aloud to my youngest daughter and she loves looking at the pictures. It teaches young readers all about important life lessons such as building self confidence, friendship, and the true meaning of character and integrity. It shares how Tiki learns to think about his own behavior and ultimately how his behavior effects others and for those reasons…. it is a fabulous book for young readers. This books end leaves you wanting more and I cannot wait for the next installment to see what happens next.
