If you visit Deliciously Savvy often, then you know that I love my furry family members and that they are a part of our family and that we love them like family. With that being said… feeding my cat and my dog the best is extremely important to me, just as I want me and my family to eat the best of healthiest of foods. Let me start with why I love Northwest Naturals. Is starts with their facilities because they they own and operate 2 eco-friendly Facilities in Oregon which means they not only care about providing our pets the best in nutrition but that they also care about the environment while making those ‘good for you’ pet foods. They have solar array at both locations, they have an extensive recycling programs (over 876,000 lbs per year), 100% recycled lubricant and petroleum burned into custom heating system, energy efficient programs including equipment, and are energy efficient via their lED lighting, refrigeration and electrical. They also have quality manufacturing certifications from the USDA, APHIS, FSIS, BRC Food Certificated, and Oregon Tilth. I also have to stress that I love that they use the HPP process to preserve their foods as it is the better for you method! RAW REWARDS Freeze Dried Chicken Breast Treats for Dogs and Cats
My cat literally clawed his way through this bag of RAW REWARDS Freeze Dried Chicken Breast Treats for both Dogs & Cats. I have to lock it up as he loves it so much and yes… so do my dogs BUT I love that there is a freeze dried raw food diet option for my cat as usually they are for dogs.
What I love about Northwest Naturals RAW REWARDS line is that it is perfect for pets that may have food related sensitivities. Your pets will benefit from treats like these are they are a single ingredient treat. I also love that RAW REWARDS are highly palatable and easy to feed.
RAW REWARDS provide convenient pieces that break easily to allow for quick and easy feeding and they are also perfect for training. They have a soft texture that allows you to use it as a food topper as well and that is how I give it to my cat Shadow. Used as a food topper it adds a nutritional boost to your cat or dogs diet and it is important to mention to make sure there is always fresh, clean water available for your pets through out the day. Freeze Dried foods provide high amounts of nutrition for your pet but they do not contain moisture. Northwest Naturals Freeze Dried Diets ~ Chicken & Salmon Recipe
My dog Harley LOVES the Northwest Naturals Freeze Dried Diets in the Chicken & Salmon Recipe. They are the same as frozen raw diet foods but in a freeze dried form. Because they are freeze dried….there is no need to keep the food frozen as it is freeze dried to make it the perfect food for your pooch any time… even on the go!
Northwest Naturals Freeze Dried Diets make the perfect training treat too. They are a nugget size and they break apart easily if the piece is too large. Harley is really picky and she devours this food. It is extremely palatable and makes the perfect nutritional snack or meal for those picky eaters.
This nutritional meal, supplement or treat is perfect for injured or post surgery pets too, due to it’s high nutritional levels and it is the healthy alternative to canned food for small breads or senior pets like my little Chihuahua that is 16 years old. You can crumble this all over your pet’s food for a natural bio-available food topper.

My little Harley and my little Chewey LOVE the Northwest Naturals Freeze Dried Diet Food in the Beef & Trout recipe. This is the same as the one above, just in another flavor. Harley loved them both but Chewy really like this one. As mentioned above…. these make the perfect training treat, food, supplement or as a food topper for your pets traditional kibble. I love the added nutrition that Northwest Naturals Freeze Dried Diets provide and I will be ordering more for my dogs and cat as they love it. I love that they provide the extra love that your dogs and/or cats needs and I especially love that it is the perfect alternative to soft food for my senior Chihuahua.
