It is no secret to anyone that knows me that I love to cook delicious meals for my family and in order to do that I have to make sure I have the culinary tools needed to help me do just that. I have been on the hunt for sometime to find the perfect cast iron braiser that will help me to create some delicious batches of stew, chili and more, which is why I jumped at the chance to give Anolon’s Vesta Cast Iron 5Qt Braiser a try! Upon receiving the Anolon Vetsa Cast Iron 5Qt Braiser…. I was immediately blown away by how gorgeous this piece is made and could not wait to get cooking in it.

The Anolon Vesta Cast Iron Braiser is the perfect fit for so many delicious meals and their cast iron cookware fuses superior heat absorption and retention all while providing you with a braiser that can be used on your stove top and in the oven as it is safe to up to 500 degrees! I love that as you can use the brasier to sear your meats and then cook them in the oven if you like. The versatility is what makes it so amazing. You can enjoy short rib, fresh batches of chili, stews, soups, Paella, Coq au Vin and more.

I also love that the Anolon Vesta Cast Iron Braiser features a black matte enamel interior that provides beautiful searing, browning and cooking all while providing you with side handles that make it easy to carry and move from stove top to oven to table. I also love that this piece is broiler safe and that it comes with a self-basting lid that helps to distribute moisture to whatever you are cooking perfectly. This piece is ideal for all stovetops…even induction!

The Anolon Vesta Cast Iron Braiser has such a gorgeous exterior and I received the Paprika Red which is my color for sure and it is beautiful just to look at with its gorgeous porcelain enamel exterior. This will for sure be a piece that you will cook in and then serve in as it is so pretty and rest assured that this braiser will last for years and years to come as Anolon backs it up with a lifetime warranty! That is huge to me as I love a company that stands behind their products as it speaks volumes to their quality and craftmanship.

I made a batch of homemade chili first in this cast iron braiser and it came out perfectly! I forgot to take a fresh shot before serving so you can see the final dish via a delicious bowl of my chili below. I love it and cannot wait to make more using this and I will for sure be creating some delicious recipes using this piece and will share on my Savvy Recipes page so be on the lookout for that soon.

First, it looks great. I like that deep red color. And the 5 quart size is a perfect size for cooking a roast, etc.

I have been thinking about purchasing a cast iron piece. I have wanted one and have not heard of the Anolon before. I like the sturdiness and the fact that it cooks a meal and that it is still a beautiful piece to place on a trivet on the table with the meal.

I have to say, Anolon is my favorite cookware brand. I have been buying Anolon for years, and have several pieces, which are all in great shape. The quality cannot be beat. I do not, however own any cast iron. I think I need to add this pan to my collection next. It’s gorgeous!

Love the @anolon brand. And, a prettier than mine, braiser is on my wish list.
As a southern, daily cook, I appreciate braising.
Would LOVE to make grandmas 100 year old recipe for beef short ribs and gravy.
