Maya Penzlik is a talented artist and illustrator living in Montreal, Canada. She creates beautiful, whimsical paintings featuring colorful characters and dreamy landscapes full of life and magic. Maya draws inspiration from her dreams, cherished childhood memories, and desire to explore new and exciting places. Her work is also influenced by the special moments she shares with her daughter, Eva.

MY REVIEW

Lisbeth and the Littering Ladybugs is an incredibly written story and it’s one of the most fabulous children’s book that I have had the pleasure of reading and enjoying of late. I may be a bit biased as I love love love ladybugs in general and when I saw the cover art of this book….I knew that it was going to be an awesome book addition to my child’s book collection. I am always drawn in by a good book cover and the illustrations in this beautifully crafted book are everything too. Your child will love this one as much as mine and I do as it’s a super fun read before bedtime (or anytime!). This is a story about Lisbeth and her grandmother and the tangles in Lisbeth’s hair that sparks Grandma to share her story about the Littering Ladybugs. I love that all of their names start with an ‘L’ as my youngest got a kick out of that when reading this beautiful story aloud. This is a must read for sure and the perfect addition to any Childs book collection and I am grabbing a few copies to gift to my nieces and nephews too! Get yours today!
