This fall, prepare for a powerful and thought-provoking cinematic experience with Last Days, directed by Justin Lin. Set to premiere in theaters on October 24, 2025, this biographical drama delves into the real-life story of John Allen Chau, a 26-year-old missionary who embarked on a perilous journey to North Sentinel Island, one of the most isolated places on Earth, in an attempt to convert its uncontacted tribe to Christianity.
Now I want to share my thoughts on this powerful and beautiful movie that everyone should see because I have to admit that I was deeply moved by Last Days. It’s one of those rare films that stays with you long after the credits roll…. powerful, emotional, and beautifully made. Justin Lin has crafted a story that is both visually stunning and profoundly human, exploring faith, purpose, and the complexity of human conviction with incredible care. The performances, especially from Sky Yang, were raw and genuine, and the storytelling was breathtaking from start to finish. Last Days isn’t just a movie…..but rather it’s an experience that makes you reflect on life, belief, and what drives us to seek meaning. I can’t recommend it enough….. everyone needs to see this film when it hits theaters on October 24th! Mark your calendars now!
