The Keto Diet is all that I seem to hear about lately… whether it be a news story, something that I see online and even via word of mouth from a few of my friends. After hearing all of the stories and learning a bit more about the Keto Diet itslef, I decided that I wanted to give it a try. After researching some books on the subject I got a bit intimidated by the fact that the Keto Diet can be hard diet to stick to as it is a very disciplined diet that you have to follow 100% in order for your body to ultimately achieve ketosis. Ketosis is when the body starts to break down protein and fat for energy, which can make you lose weight but in order to achieve this state you have to eat less than 50 grams of carbs a day so that your body will eventually run out of fuel (blood sugar), which can typically take 3 to 4 days. Once that happens you’ll start to break down protein and fat for energy, which brings forth the incredible weight loss results.

The idea of the Keto Diet being so disciplined is why I wanted to find a way to enjoy the benefits of the Keto Diet but in an easy way that will help me to succeed and stay on track to ultimately achieve my weight loss goals.     I like the idea of these Keto meal replacement shakes. For awhile, I was doing bulletproof coffee twice a day and lost 20 pounds in 2 months. But, in the end, that’s unsustainable.

    Keto’s all the rage now. The strawberries and cream shake sounds perfect. If I’, not going to have a full meal, I better replace it with something delicious like that one. Could be a nice addition to my IF regiment.

    I would be curious to try these–I started keto in February of this year but didn’t, admittedly, always feel great on it but maybe I needed more variety. I did really cut the pounds off with it though and I learned to just incorporate balance into my life when it comes to sugar and carbs. It really was the key to my permanent weight loss this year!

    Yeah, I have heard a lot of really great things about Keto. I need to check it out. I think doing more exercising helps as well. But a good diet to go along with the exercise is essential.
