How to Enliven Your Home for Spring, Without Doing the Cleaning
A study by the American Cleaning Institute reveals that 91% of people in the United States do some form of spring cleaning. 76% of people give their home a spring clean every year and 60% of people gave really giving their home a good scrub as their reasoning for that. That means that most of us will be planning to do something to enliven our homes this year.

If you’re one of these people who doesn’t enjoy spring cleaning or wants to do something different this year, then there are ways to give your home a boost without getting the feather duster out. Your home can feel just as wonderful without getting your hands dirty.
Get a Psychic Reading
If you feel that your home seems sort of drab and low energy, then using cleaning products in your bathroom probably isn’t going to change much. Something you could try is getting a psychic reading. Psychic Readers can be hired through online sites such as TheCircle and can tell you what’s been holding you back, helping you to make choices that will make your life and your home better.
China has been using this idea of energy in the home for centuries with things such as feng shui. Psychic readings operate on a similar basis – channeling universal energy and spiritualism for guidance. The Readers have topics that they can focus on, such as romance and career, so you can use them to really find what’s been making you (and your home) unhappy.
Donate What You Don’t Need
The problem with just getting rid of all of the old clothes in your wardrobe is that putting them in the bin can be incredibly wasteful. But the items you don’t use any more, such as CD players and old books may also be of use to someone even if you don’t enjoy them anymore.
One suggestion is to sell these things online, but if they don’t seem to be selling well, you could try donating them to charity. Unfortunately certain charities may not take some items and some can’t take products such as white goods and things that are broken so make sure you ask them before you start putting everything in boxes.
Redecorate on a Budget

Getting all new furniture can be expensive and isn’t affordable if you plan to do it every time you spring clean. There are ways to redecorate on a budget says Living Well Spending Less which will allow you to potentially save hundreds of dollars on new home items.
Some of the suggestions are to just paint some of your furniture a new color – or the same color, if you like the way it looks but the color looks old and chipped. You can also try creating your own art. You may not feel like an artist but if you’ve made it and you like it, you’ll be happy that it’s in your home.
These are spring cleaning suggestions, but you can do them any time of the year to make your home feel happy and exciting again. If you have the time, you can bring that positive energy back whenever you feel like it.
