It is no secret that I love feel good moves which is why I am super excited to share 5,000 Blankets with everyone that In know as this movie is out Today (12/12) and Tomorrow 12/13 ONLY and it is one you will not want to miss! This is the perfect for those mom’s out there so gather the gang and take your family to see this wonderful film. You will all be uplifted and inspired to see your community like this real-life mother and sons did!

The synopsis is one that will grab you and draw you in. 5,000 Blankets is inspired by a remarkable true story that is filled with hope and that highlights the power of family and faith. When her husband has a mental break- down and goes missing, a woman and her young son set out to find him on the streets, sparking a movement of compassion towards those in need and inspiring a city.

The words spoken that touched me and inspired the characters on their journey were “Mommy,” he said. “Are you warm?” “Yes, baby, I’m warm.” “Is Daddy warm?” he asked. And then the then 7-year-old son asked about everyone else – the people on the street and in the shelters. His mom told him the truth: “No, not everyone is warm.”

I loves this one as it is truly incredible with what can happen when someone transforms their heart to serve the people in need around them and not only are they helping those in need but they are helping others to open their hearts for the better too. Others to o the same…and that is everything. Together this wonderful mom and son duo started Phillip’s Wish, an organization that was founded by a little boy who saw a need in the world and decided to do something about it.
