MY REVIEW
I absolutely Adventures at Lake Omigosh as it’s the perfect book to read to my youngest daughter before bedtime. It’s a quick and fun read with a fun storyline that reminds me of being a kid myself. I always loved camp as a child and my daughter now goes to camp during the summer months so she instantly feel in love with this one. Adventures at lake Omigosh is a story about Felix & Harry, two best friends that love going away to Camp Horizon each summer. The two of them go out one day on a canoe trip, not following all of the camp rules and putting themselves into harms way during a storm while out on the water. They are sinking into the lake after swimming for a minute struggling to stay afloat when they are suddenly brought to the surface on a platform of some kind. That platform turns out to be the mysterious creature that people have been speculating upon for years and all the boys can say when they get back safely to shore and see the creature….. is ‘oh my gosh!’. Hence the name of the lake at Camp Horizon. We loved this one and it is the perfect, must-have addition to any child’s book collection!
