Many thanks to Robert Craig Films for providing a sample of the product for this review. Opinions are 100% my own.
I have seen on the news the past few years, how bad homelessness has become in this great country and it is worse than anything that I could have imagined after seeing this powerful film. The fact of the matter is homelessness has become a huge problem that shows no signs if slowing down and that’s why I wanted to share this film with everyone that I know as it is a must-see for all. If we all understand the problem, we can better equip ourselves to help combat it and it is so important to remember that these are human beings that have fallen upon bad times and in all honesty…. it could happen to each and every one of us and at any time. So many of us live paycheck to paycheck which means we are all a week or two away from homelessness if something bad were to happen. I appreciate No Address as it highlights the human side of homelessness and vividly portrays that “homelessness can indeed happen to anyone.” Take a look at the synopsis and trailer below……
Synopsis:
Homeless at 17, Lauren lost everything—except the will to survive. On the streets, she finds new meaning in a family of outcasts and discovers that home is where the hope is. No Address is a gripping journey of living without walls and rising above them. Starring Lucas Jade Zumann, Beverly D’Angelo, Isabella Ferreira, William Baldwin, Xander Berkeley, Ty Pennington, Kristanna Loken, Patricia Velasquez, and Ashanti, this powerful film dares you to believe in second chances. No Address looks incredibly powerful right!? I love that this movie was created by Robert Craig Films to be an exploration of hope, humanity, and resilience as the various characters navigate challenges without having an actual physical address. Robert Craig Films is using the power of film to inspire action in local communities and to me that is a beautiful thing. I love that Robert Craig Films is deeply committed to addressing the urgent issue of homelessness which is why they have pledged 50% of the net profits from our five No Address productions to be donated to a diverse range of organizations and churches nationwide that are tirelessly working to combat the homelessness crisis within their communities. That is even more reason to tell everyone that you know about this film and for us all to go and see it in theaters tarting today!
Did you know that there are 1.2 million adults and 1.5 million children experiencing homelessness nationwide!? Well there are and between 2022 and 2023, street-level homelessness increased 12% nationwide. The worst part is…. if this rate continues, street-level homelessness will double in 5-6 years and not only that but it is also important to know that nearly 1 in 3 foster youth in California face homelessness after leaving the child welfare system. That is a crime and we have to do better for our own citizens and children and that is why I love this film so much and will share with everyone that I know.
