MY REVIEW

There’s something magical about a book that instantly pulls you in… and for me, Yes! No. Maybe?: Three Little Words that Change Everything did exactly that. I didn’t just enjoy it… I’m completely obsessed. From the very first page, it felt like one of those rare stories that you know will become a favorite, especially during those cozy read-aloud moments with kids.

One of my absolute favorite parts is the beautiful rhyming throughout the book. It flows so naturally and makes reading it out loud such a fun, almost a musical experience. It turns storytime into something interactive and joyful, where the words seem to dance and everyone listening is pulled right in. If you love a good rhyming book, this one truly delivers in the best way.

Beyond the rhythm, the message is what really makes this book shine. Through three simple words… yes, no, and maybe… it gently teaches such an important lesson about listening to yourself, setting boundaries, and trusting your inner voice. It’s meaningful without ever feeling heavy, and it opens the door for really special conversations with kids while still resonating deeply as an adult.

I loved this book so much that I’ll definitely be gifting a few copies to my younger family members. It’s one of those stories that feels timeless… something children can grow with and come back to again and again. With heartfelt writing by Barbara A. Berger and warm illustrations by Brent Pettit, it’s a book that brings both joy and meaning to every read.
