Pan Fry: Heat the skillet on medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons oil.
Add the dumplings making sure there is oil under the dumpling to keep it from sticking during cooking. Pan fry for 1 to 2 minutes per side until golden brown.
Add 1/4 cup of water to the pan and cover to steam for 2 to 3 minutes until the water evaporates.
transfer from skillet to plate. Sprinkle and garnish as you choose and serve with the dipping sauce recipe below.
For the Vinegar Dipping Sauce, mix together rice vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, green onion, sesame oil and chili flakes and then drizzle over top or serve on the side to dip them in. Simply yummy.
This is the perfect recipe for an appetizer, snack, lunch, dinner…. well heck… anytime! You can also boil or steam the dumplings as an option to pan frying but I find that pan frying is the best cooking method for the tastiest results.
