So do you have a good dog or a bad dog?  That question is actually misleading as we should really be looking for abnormal behavior, not “good or bad.” A loving and mature owner recognizes their pets behavior and works to correct it before it becomes a serious and possibly dangerous situation.

  2. Thanks for spread awareness. I don’t have a dog, never had one, i’m a cat person, but these warnings are useful for everyone.

  3. Thanks for the concise guide to the body language of dogs. My little 7 pound mutt has been crouching with her tail between her legs when visitors come in the house. I need to address this so she can be calm when people enter our house.

  4. Very informative posting. Great information especially if you are not familiar with dogs. Thank you for sharing.

We have a dog and a cat, too, and both were adopted. Our dog is never aggressive against us, but she really hates anyone in brown like the UPS man, etc. She’s a bichon with a fierce heart.

  6. My dog is every so good. He is so calm and gentle with my grand kids. Best dog!
